Lorna (and Gerry as well) watched me grow up to see what i am today and was still giving me the mother like advise that i cherished and always listened to. Condolence: We will miss having Lorna as a neighbor. She was a light on our little court, and was always genuinely interested in how our children were doing and had such a positive attitude. She would often bake us cookies and our dog could not pass her house without getting a treat from Lorna. Condolence: Jo-Ann and I met Lorna for the first time in 1979 through her position at the Town of Whitby where she ran the Parks and Recreation Department and her and Gerry's work on The Brooklin Redmen executive. They held great pool parties. It was at one of these that Lorna gave Jo-Ann her recipe for baked beans. This is something of Lorna's that we will always have to remember her by. It was later that we met her kids, Jeff and Janis. They share her love of life and great positive attitude; two excellent traits to pass on to the next generation. We will miss her very much.
