Condolences

Condolence From: Marlene Cutone McCausland
Condolence: It was almost 40 years ago when my late husband Ernie McCausland introduced me to Bob at a family reunion at his sister Peggy's home. Bob and Ernie had a special relationship. Bob was always telling me how good Ernie was to him. He recently reminisced about the bike Ernie gave him and still had the baseball glove all these years later. When Bob phoned I always seemed to be the one who answered. He would talk my ear off before I could give the phone to Ernie. Bob had a very keen mind. He loved art and the computer and had hoped someday to draw cartoons. He loved history and kept up-to-date on world news. However life is not always as we plan. When Bob's sister Peggy passed away he became an instant father. He cared for and loved her children as his own. Bob could be difficult at times but in later years Tracy and her husband Alain developed a much closer relationship with him and he loved and adored their two girls Emilia and Addison - they were the joy of his life. Bob talked to me a lot about religion. He was a strong believer in Jesus and without Him would be lost. He always counted his blessings and now he is in the land where we never grow old, where there is only happiness and joy.

Thinking of you with love today and always.
