Condolence: Every memory I have of Garney was of him smiling. If you didn’t know him, you might think he was up to something he smiled so much. :) As everyone who knows him would agree, he was a very kind and genuine man.
Judy and Lucy, you did an amazing tribute to your father today. Our thoughts are with Ruth, Judy, Lucy, Danny and all the family and friends who are now on the difficult journey of grieving the loss of a man who had a profound and positive impact on their lives.

Kerry (Turner) has many fond memories of being over at Ruth and Garnet's house playing the Game of Life with Lucy. She remembers coming over one time and seeing Garnet darning his own sock. He had a light bulb stuck inside it to help and was cursing as he went in and out to fix his sock. He told us Ruth would no longer fix the holes in his socks so he would have to. We laughed because this of course was the 60s and men did not fix their socks....Please tell Lucy, Danny and Judy that Kerry is thinking of them.
