Peacefully at Hillsdale Terraces on November 12th, 2014 in her 93rd year.

Jeannie lived a life of service and generosity to family and friends as well as her community. She served with the WAAFS in Britain during WWII (radar), was a patron to many charities and took people in the community to appointments as a volunteer driver.

Jeannie loved entertaining, singing the theatre, concerts and travel. As per her wishes, a celebration of life will take place at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby from 2- 4 pm on Sunday November 30th.

In Jeannie’s memory memorial donations to the Alzheimers Society would be gratefully appreciated.
