Arthur Needham Obituary
Passed June 30, 2023 from a long courageous battle with COPD at his home in Ashburn at the age of 86, beloved husband of the late Shirley Needham. Loving father to Linda (Peter), and Sue (Dave), and the late Paul Needham, grandfather to Alex, Mike, Nikki and Jack, great grandfather to Ava, Emily and Freddie, and loving master to Sam (his shitzu). It was his wish not to have a service.
Art had a long career as a plumber with Local 46. He was a hard working man who loved the great outdoors. He loved to hunt and fish. He outlived all his siblings and friends. He was an avid gardener and loved moving stone and dirt with his tractor, Sammy always strapped in to a basket attached to the tractor. The last 2 years were difficult ones as he could no longer drive the tractor and do his gardening.
One thing about Art was his vast expanse of knowledge and great advice. There was nothing he couldn't fix and not a problem he couldn't solve.
He will be dearly missed but is now at peace with his dear Shirley.
