Passed away at Thorntonview LTC, Oshawa on Monday May 2nd, 2022 at the age of 76. Much loved mother of Laurie Ormston of Whitby, John Ormston of Toronto, Karen Sparkes of Whitby and Janet Ormston of Whitby.
Cherished grandmother of Jessica, Chantelle, Cody, Eden, Olivia, Kurtis, Jaime, Tianna and Ty.
Great grandmother of Brayden.
Dear sister of Carole Crowe and her husband Bob, Bruce Fowler and his partner Maureen. Predeceased by her sister Ann Procee.
Barb was an active volunteer and a fixture in the community. She served on the Ladies Auxillary at the Brooklin Legion for many years and with the Brooklin Redmen Lacrosse Club. Barb worked hard and had a zest for life, enjoying spending time with friends and family and having a Molson Export now and again. She was dedicated to her family and a great support for all of them. She will be sorely missed by friends and family alike.
Visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Thursday May 5th from 1:00 pm until time of Service in the Barnes Chapel Thursday afternoon at 2:00 pm
