Obituary for Catherine Stewart "Kate" Crossey
CROSSEY, CATHERINE (KATE) (nee HEPBURN)
Kate was born in Clydebank, Scotland, on July 7, 1943. She moved to Canada in 1967, where she met her beloved Terry, whom she married on July 7, 1973. Kate was generous and well-loved by all who knew her, and her passions ranged from knowing the best value for taste in bottles of wine to cheering on her favourite golfers, and supporting the Toronto Blue Jays.
"Aunt Kate" will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her. Kate is survived by her brother, Allan Hepburn (Maureen); niece, Carolyn Gauthier (Gilles); nephew, Alistair Hepburn (Natalie); cousins, Patricia Hepburn-Dobson (Brad), Moria Rennie (Alastair), and Heather Stevenson (Allan). Kate will be greatly missed by her Aunt Doris, and all of her greats, grands, 2nd and 3rds: Mac, Cameron, Sophie, Scott, Emma, Gail, Fiona; and all her cousins and relatives across the UK and Canada.
Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Crossey; her mother, Mary Hepburn; and her father, Jim Hepburn. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring the memory of Catherine. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada are greatly appreciated.
