Sadly passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on November 13th, 2023 at the age of 72. Cherished husband of 47 years to his wife Joanne. Proud and loving father of Ryan and his wife Sabrina, and Laura and her husband Chris. Doting Papa to James, Ethan, Mason, Cruz and Sienna. Loved brother of Brian and his late wife Rosanna (2007) and partner Anita. Uncle to Neville and Dana. Brother-in-law to Wanda Gareau. Survived by his mother Kathleen and pre-deceased by his father Harold (1999).
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 17th, 2023 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Road North, Whitby, ON, followed by a reception.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested a donation be made in memory of Fred to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
