Parsons, Gerald Everett

Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Ajax Pickering, after a well-lived long life, Gerald Everett Parsons left us to rejoin his beloved wife Mary. Gerry was born on February 23rd 1930 in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Predeceased by his wife Mary (nee Machin), brother Donald, and parents Harold and Nellie (Boudreau). A life-long brass bandsman, Gerry joined the Fredericton Legion Boys' Band as a young child and was a proud member of the Whitby Brass Band and the Oshawa Civic Band in Ontario. Joining the RCAF in 1948, Gerry served his country with pride. It was in Charlottetown where he met Mary, marrying in 1954. Summers saw family vacations in New Brunswick and PEI, and after retiring, he and Mary traveled to Europe, across Canada, the US and Hawaii. Gerry and Mary proudly lived in one home in Whitby from 1959 until their passings.
