My heartfelt sympathy to Trude's family. Though I did not see Trude often, the times that I did were special, fun and memorable. Trude was an accomplished musician and I was privileged to have sung a concert with her and Viki Meredith at Aeolian Town Hall. (photo attached) Her gentle presence was complimented by her strength of character and depth of perception. Trude was organist at St. Peter's Cathedral Basilica in London from 1985-1990. She is fondly remembered by our musicians, parishioners and clergy.

Cathy I'm so sorry to hear about your sister. Nancy has just told me. I do remember our trip to Stratford and our amazing lunch on the banks of the river Avon. My thoughts are with you.

One of Trude's favourite places was the Loretto Maryholme Retreat House on Lake Simcoe. Every summer she went there with a group of friends for a refreshing and relaxing time. Last summer, her sister Cathy was able to go, too, and Trude was even happier to be able to share this beautiful place with family.
