In his 95th year, Horst passed away at Lakeridge Health Hospital in Oshawa on January 7th, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Christa for 67 years. Dear father of Robert (Brenda) and Ingrid (Donny). Proud Opa of Ryan, Kristen, and Robbie (Thomas).
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends who enjoyed his hearty laugh and wonderful story telling.
Horst took great pleasure in spending time with his family, learning how to use the computer, watching Formula One races, and travelling every year with his wife to Florida.
Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of Horst's life will be held hopefully this summer (depending on COVID restrictions) at his favourite place - his home (which he built) on Stoney Lake.
In memory of Horst, memorial donations to Sick Kids Hospital, Toronto would be appreciated.
