Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on July 29th 2021 at Lakeridge Health Ajax.
Beloved and cherished husband of the late Florence (2011).
Loving dad of Mary-Anne (Bryan) of Whitby, Angela Grant of Bowmanville and Christopher (Leigh) of Port Hope.
Cherished Papa of Michael (Lindsay), Kathryn, Joel (Kavita), Brianna (Frank), Aidan, Kieran. Great-Papa of Kylie.
Joseph is survived by his sisters Frances (late Armido) & Marie (Peter) and his brothers Sam (Eleanor) & Paul (Mila).
Family and friends will be received at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Tuesday August 3rd from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m.
A service honouring Joseph's life will be held in the Barnes chapel Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.
All guests who wish to attend the visitation or service must use our RSVP system within our website. Anyone who requires assistance to register may phone our office between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm.
For those who are unable to attend the funeral service, the funeral will be streamed on the Barnes Facebook page on Wednesday.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to Second Chance Wildlife Sanctuary or the MS Society.
