Passed away unexpectantly at Lakeridge Health on Monday August 29th, 2023 at the age of 93.
Loving mother of Cindi and her husband Adrian McClughan of Whitby. Predeceased by her daughter Brenda Perks (1990). Margaret will be remembered by Brian Perks.
Cherished Grandma of Bryan and Brendan. Survived by her brother Bobby Lipovsky and his wife Donna.
Predeceased by her brother John (surviving Heidi) and sisters Mary (late Joseph), Josie and Ann (surviving Edouard).
Margaret will be remembered by her loving cousins in the US as well as many nieces and nephews.
Margaret was the oldest of 6 children born in 1930 in Port Colborne Ontario. She loved her family and friends and she will be forever remembered as a fun loving, kind, and compassionate person who loved music, sing-alongs, and dancing.
Margaret’s family would like to thank the staff at the Chartwell Colonial Retirement home for their wonderful care, support and compassion.
The family invites all friends and family to join together and share in Margaret’s memory at a Celebration of Life Reception at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Tuesday September 26th from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. Remembrances will be shared at 3:00 p.m.
