Obituary for Mogens John Holm
On January 2, 2021 John passed away peacefully at Hillsdale Estates, in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. He was surrounded and supported by his amazing caregivers.
John is survived by his beloved wife Cynthia (Mortensen); his children: Susan (Ulf), Heidi (Tom), Erik (Victoria) and Kirsten. He was very proud of his grandchildren: Ashley, Kristian, Reid, Cassia, Maisie, and Ellia.
John's love of aviation began early in life. He joined the Danish Airforce at 16 where he progressed to flying fighter aircraft. He was also assigned to the US Airforce. On immigrating to Canada he joined the Canadian Airforce, and later worked for Transport Canada . He passed on this love of aviation to members of his family.
