Obituary for Norma Olive Fay Hogan (Rusaw)

HOGAN, Norma Olive Fay (Rusaw), born March 15, 1939 - Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at the Oshawa Lakeridge Health. Beloved wife of the late Bernard Carl Hogan, of almost 60 years. Loving mother of Karen Elaine Hogan, Kitchener, Ontario.

``Grandma`` will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Cory and Philip Parker.
``Daughter`` of: George Frances Rusaw and Olive (Philips).
``Sister`` of: Harold (Norma), Herb (Murretta), Joy (Norman), Phyllis (Elmer) and Lois (Hugh).
``Sister-in-Law`` of: Frank (Mary), Margaret (Wes), Leo (Mona), Clifford, Eileen (Howard), Patricia (Wilf), Jack (Mary), Joan (Alan), Shirley (Cliff), Donna (Ed) and Glen.
``Aunt`` of many nieces and nephews.

Norma was born in Colborne, Ontario and raised in the Brighton area. She devoted many years as Office Manager to the Trent Valley Sand and Gravel, in both the Brighton and Scarborough offices. After retirement, she never slowed down; enjoying life to the fullest. Norma continued with her many passions of life at the pool in her own backyard, entertaining their many family and friends, travelling (cruise ships) and assisting her loving husband in the care of their award winning gardens.

At Norma’s request, there will be only a private family interment at the St. George’s Cemetery in Trenton, Ontario at a future date.
