Passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Monday June 22nd, 2020 at the age of 78. A private family service will be held at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Friday afternoon. Loving wife of Bill Wallace for 61 years. Much loved mother of Wendy Rammler (late John), Scott Wallace and his wife Angela, Brenda Christodoulou and her husband Chris and Brad Wallace and his spouse, Kristen Bugyra.
Grandmother of Kyle (Emily), Colin, Skye (Mick), Max (Anthea), Myah, John.
Great-grandmother of Wallace.
Dear sister of Glenda Fasciano and her husband Charles. Predeceased by her sister, Gloria Price (surviving Ron) and her brother Chic. Fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Marilyn Wallace (late Tony)
Loving aunt to Joe, Cathy (deceased), Randy (deceased), David (deceased) Dan, Nick, John ,Nick and Lori as well as adoring cousin of newly found relatives in Quebec.

IN MEMORY OF ROSE WALLACE
Rose was born in Timmins, ON to Lillian and Nick Piperno on December 20, 1941.
Rose attended Timmins High where she met Bill, they married on September 05, 1959, and raised their four cherished children, living also in Calgary, Alberta, prior to moving to Brooklin, ON in 1965. Rose was a dedicated and loving mother, always supporting, and inspiring the best in each of her children. Rose was thrilled to become a grandmother, and a great grandmother, she loved babies.
With Bill, Rose was an active member of the Brooklin/Whitby community, where she was a girl guide leader, worked as a church secretary in Brooklin for 8 years, and had many dear friends. Rose and Bill loved to travel, visiting Hawaii for their 25th anniversary, Italy for their 50th anniversary, and enjoyed many winters in their Florida home. Rose and Bill enjoyed a life of many celebrations, recently marking their 60th Anniversary. Their enduring love for each other shone through in their daily life, Bill still referred to Rose as his beautiful bride.
Rose loved learning, and returned to school to become a nurse, graduating with honors at the age of 50. She furthered her education with courses in mental health, palliative care, and obtained her pharmacy assistant certification, to then work at the Whitby Psychiatric Hospital for 10 years.
Rose was a woman of great faith, which despite her many health challenges, remained steadfast. She looked to scripture, and the Lord for guidance in all things. She loved Bill, and her family, deeply and unconditionally.
