Salwa passed away peacefully at home with the love of her family surrounding her on June 30-2023 at the age of 86.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Michael Issa Habaybeh. Beloved mother to Maha, Issa, (Karen), Susan (Robert) and Peter. Beloved sister to Nadia, Evette, Zaki, Abdullah, Khalil and Edward along with their wives.
Cherished Teta (Grandmother) to Justin, (Kathleen), Andrew, Shelby, (Hayden) Brandon, Sarah, Katie and Mitchell. Most loving great grand mother to Georgia-Lynn, Benjamin, Lennon and Valen.
She was loved by her numerous nieces and nephews as well as all the friends she touched in her life.
Family and friends will be received for visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd, Whitby 905-655-3662 on Wednesday July 5- from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. A funeral service honouring Salwa’s life with be held in the Barnes Chapel on Thursday July 6 at 11:00 am followed by an interment at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery Whitby.
A reception will take place at Barnes Memorial Funeral home following the cemetery service.
