SHADDOCK, Wendy Georgeana (nee Smith) Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on December 5, 2023 at the age of 70 after a short battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Richard Shaddock for 51 years. Loved and loving mom of Jennifer Muir (Steve) and Victoria. Cherished Grammie of Ethan and Katie. Loving sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt and great friend to many over the years. Wendy courageously battled 5 different cancers in her lifetime. Wendy loved to travel and spend time with her family. Wendy will be fondly remembered by her family, friends, and extended family.

The family would like to thank the team at the Oshawa Cancer Care Centre and the nurses and staff on 4F Supportive Care for their care and compassion.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 1-4pm at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home Ltd. Memorial service will be held at the Barnes Memorial Funeral Home Ltd., 5295 Thickson Rd., N, Whitby on Monday, December 11, 2023 at 12pm. Wendy will be laid to rest at Groveside Cemetery Brooklin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Wendy’s memory.
