It’s no coincidence that I ended up having personal moments with Paul over saving wild animals.  

Was driving out on Black Lake Road and met Paul while he was hiking in nature, we both came across a beautiful massive snapping turtle with a long tail, migrating to lay her eggs.  She was resting in the middle of the road, and Paul with no hesitation gently picked her up moved her in the direction she was going & off the road to safety.   I recall it like it was yesterday.

Not the first time Paul helped save wildlife in my experience.  One of my cats sadly brought home a baby bunny didn’t hurt it, but it squealed and was terrified hidden under our deck behind the lattice.  Paul managed to break the lattice, save the bunny and repair the lattice in less than 15 minutes.  

We always viewed Paul as an Angel put on this earth to be a hero for humanity and wildlife and his heavenly smile never hurt anyone.
