Obituary for Kristopher William Miller

Died suddenly at home on Friday, April 1, 2016. Kris was the adored son of Deborah Nanton and Peter J Miller (deceased) and step-son of Neil Anderson.

Kris was predeceased by his beloved wife Alexandra Olejniczak and is now safely in her arms as he longed to be.

Kris was born in Ottawa on April 9, 1981, grew up in Markham and Mississauga and was living in Brooklin (Whitby) until his passing.

Kris was the center of our lives and Neil and I will love and miss him until we see him again in heaven.

Kristopher was smart, intensely curious about everything and we will miss our political and global discussions. He had a quirky sense of humour and where possible, found joy in many different things.

Since Alex died last year, he was in constant agony missing her - all he wanted to be is with her and now he is. He tried to stay with us but his pain and grief overtook him.

Kris is survived by his Aunts Brenda Clark and Toni Reader, grandmother Mary Miller, great aunt Esme Lyons, his cousin Margot Weir, and many other friends and relatives.

Fly with the angels my darling son, I love you forever. We are trying to be strong for you but we are weak but know that we hold no disappointment over this – we were blessed by every minute you were with us.

Visitation will be held at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Wednesday.

A Funeral Service honouring Kris' life will be held in the Barnes Chapel Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m.

Kris will be laid to rest at Assumption Cemetery, Mississauga.

In memory of Kris, memorial donations may be made to Distress Centre Durham or The Primrose Donkey Sanctuary.
