Obituary for Iain Gordon Haggarty
Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday May 10th, 2016 at the age of 72.
Loving husband of Madeline Haggarty of Oshawa. Much loved and loving Dad of Lynn Haggarty and her husband Kurt of Oshawa and Andrew Haggarty of Oshawa. Cherished Grandfather of Paisley and Avery.
Dear brother of Jane Haggarty and her husband Walter of Zurich, Switzerland, Frank Haggarty and his partner Hannah of Glasgow Scotland and Elizabeth Coombs and her husband Vince of Eastbourne England. Brother-in-law of Tom Cheyne and his wife Joyce of Renfrew Scotland and Anne Cheyne of Bishopbriggs Scotland.
Iain will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews Louisa, Colin, Suzanne, Adele, Alison, Caroline, Diane and Allan, as well as several great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N Whitby from 1:00 p.m. Sunday until time of funeral service in the Barnes Chapel Sunday afternoon ( May 15th) at 2:00 p.m.
A reception will follow the service at the Glasgow Rangers Supporter Club 1950 Ellesmere Rd, Scarborough, ON M1H 2V8.
In memory of Iain, memorial donations to Lakeridge Health Foundation (Critical Care) would be appreciated by the family.
