Obituary for Basil Stewart Fee
After a sudden and brief illness, Basil passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, June 24th, in Whitby Ontario at the age of 86.
Basil, a long time resident of Sarnia, Ontario, moved to Whitby after retirement from Dow Chemical Canada, where he spent 35 years as a well respected research scientist for the company. He is survived by his cherished companion Sandra Blake; his daughter Lisa Durocher, son Derek, and daughter in law Wendy; and his four beloved grandchildren, Daniel Durocher; and Brendan, Christopher and Michelle Fee.
No visitation or service is planned; a private family memorial will take place at a future date.
Basil’s family wishes to thank Dr. David Ibsen of Whtiby, Ontario; and those at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa, for their professional and exemplary efforts on his behalf during his illness.
