Obituary for Carmela Maria Cannataro
Passed away peacefully at Milton District Hospital on Tuesday July 5th, 2016 just days before her 95th birthday. Loving wife of the late Giuseppe Cannataro.
Much loved mother of Luigi and his wife Erminia of Milton, Marcello and his wife Lucia of Bradford.
Pre-deceased by her son Frank (Angie).
Loving Nonna to Paul (Andrea), Jennifer (Luigi), Peter (Sarah), Teresa (Nick), Amanda, Melissa (Dave), Massimo and Alessio. Great Nonna of 7.
Survived by her brother Gene Greco and his wife Lena. Pre-deceased by her brother Frank and her sister Elenora.
Carmela will be fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews and their families.
Visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Sunday July 11th from 1-4 p.m.
Then to Holy Family Catholic Church, Ribblesdale Drive Whitby for Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday July 12th at 10:30 a.m.
Carmela will be laid to rest at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby.
In memory of Carmela, and in lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation would be appreciated.
