Passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday September 9th, 2016 at the age of 82.
Dearly loved wife of Theo for 59 years. Loved and loving mother of Dale Thissen and his wife Berry of Whitby, Janice and her husband Bill Kerson of Toronto and Julie Thissen and her husband Keith Nolen of Texas.
Grandmother of Daniel, Marcus and Kacy.
Family funeral service will be held at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Tuesday afternoon.
Interment will follow at Thornton Cemetery, Oshawa.
In memory of Barbara memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
