Obituary for Marie Mildred Galea
Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday September 13th, 2016 at the age of 84.
Loving wife of Percy. Much loved mother Judy LeBlond of Toronto, Jerry LeBlond of Huntsville, David Galea and his wife Silva of Alberta, Dan Galea and his wife Sandra of Beaverton and Denise Jackson and her husband Ronald of Oshawa.
Loved Grandmother of Michael, Matthew, Sarah, Colleen, Jennifer, Christopher, Gregory, Brock, Robert and Shannon. Great Grandmother of Jaxson, Corylynn, Cole and Jake. Great Great Grandmother of River.
Dear sister of Jean McLean (late Lyle) of Sault Ste. Marie, Robert Haney and his wife Shirley of Waterloo and Norma Reid and her husband Ken of Desbarats.
Predeceased by her brother Harvey Haney (late Edna).
Marie will be remembered by several nieces and nephews and their families.
Visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby from 2:00 p.m. Sunday until time of funeral service in the Barnes Chapel Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.
A family interment will follow on Monday at Groveside Cemetery.
In memory of Marie, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Lakeridge Health Foundation would be appreciated.
