My Uncle Fred and his older brother (my dad) Joseph were more than siblings - they were like best friends.  They shared many of the same interests - like wine, and gardening, and reminiscing of their childhood in Sicily, and wine, and love of their family, and wine, and just being outdoors.  Did I mention the wine?

But what I remember most was how in my dad's later years Uncle Fred would phone hime almost every night just to say hello and ask how his day was.

We will all miss you Uncle Fred, but at least you can catch up with your older brothers now.
