The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Wilma Lynde can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Christine Smith (Richardson)
Condolence: Deepest sympathy to the entire family. When I think of Ashburn, I still always think of the Lynde family. So many happy memories, either on the farm or at the community centre or at the bus stop. Such a strong beautiful family. My thoughts will continue to be with you during this difficult time.

Condolence: My sincerest condolences to the Lynde family. Wilma was a wonderful lady and neighbour. I've had many conversations with Wilma over the years. I can recall at least 3 this year, the most recent only a month ago. I will miss her dearly.

Condolence: To the whole Lynde Family. My deepest condolences to you all. I worked with Wilma from 1978-1983 at K-Mart, and Wilma was always at work with a smile, open arms. If you were having a bad day, Wilma was there if you needed a shoulder to lean on. I also went to school with Lori. Lori I will be praying for you and your family your mom was amazing beautiful lady.
Wilma now you may rest in peace. Love Debbie

Condolence: So sorry to hear that Mrs. Lynde has passed. When I think of Mrs. Lynde it is always in context of a beautiful fall day like today. The fall leaves on the trees that arched the road from the Lynde home to the store, always made me think of Mrs. Lynde heading off to pick apples while we were heading off to school. Always a friendly smile and wave from her as we headed to school, and in later years the bus. I am thinking of the entire family at this time with fond memories of those years. My sincerest condolences to all.

Condolence: To the Lynde Family,

All of my thoughts and prayers are with you. I worked with Wilma at K-Mart. She was always laughing and had a smile on her face. As a 17 yr old in 1977 she took all the young cashiers under her wing to guide us along. We would work the long Christmas hours many a 12 hr shifts she was right there with us.

God Bless you Wilma and May the Peace of the Lord be with you !

Condolence: Dear Janelle and family,

We are so sorry for you loss. We are thinking about you and sending big hugs. I had the privilege to meet your Grandma and have to say, I don't know many Grandmas who enjoy the horse races! She raised an amazing and loving family. May you treasure your memories during this difficult time.

Condolence: We will dearly miss Wilma's euchre skills. Playing cards with her always made loosing to her fun. Trying to clean up, constantly being pushed away, because she wouldn't accept any help, showed her strong character. We both wish we had more time with her, but she made sure to live every day of her life to the fullest. She's an amazing woman, and it shows through everyone in her family. Xoxo
