Obituary for Esther Mary Might
(RCAF Veteran WW ll) (Resident of Court of Brooklin for 7 years formerly of Peterborough)
Passed away peacefully on Monday April 11th, 2016 in her 97th year. Loved daughter of the late James and Amy (McGill) Might.
Loving Aunt of Nancy Innes and her husband Jim of Brooklin, Joan Williamson and her husband Laurie of Manilla and Bill Might and his wife Lorraine of Fraserville. Fondly remembered by her great nieces and nephews, Michael (Jill), Julie (Greg), Jill (Steve), Paul (Bonnie), Kristin (JJ), Brent (Jasmin) and Adrianne, as well as her great-great-nieces and nephews Edward, Katherine, William, Oliver, Nathan, Katelyn, Noah and Jada.
Esther is pre-deceased by her brother Gordon Might and his late wife Irene.
Esther was a proud veteran, lifetime member of the Peterborough Golf and Country Club, Royal Canadian Legion Br. 52; Royal Canadian Air Force Club and Soroptimist International. Esther was an Active Curler and Golfer. She will be fondly remembered.
Visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby from 11:00 am Saturday (April 16th) until time of funeral service Saturday at Noon.
Interment will follow at Rosemount Cemetery, Peterborough.
