Condolence: Uncle Spike, I can't believe you are no longer here with us. I have so many fond memories of our family "get togethers" growing up. What a rowdy bunch we were. You made us laugh and you were so much fun to be around. The life of the party. We will always remember your smile and your laugh. I know in my heart you are with grandma, grandpa Brooks, and Bruce looking down on the whole crazy lot of us. Behave yourself. Never stop having a good time. We love you and will miss you always. Best uncle ever! Until we meet again, Love Lisa, Darren, Alicia & Zac xoxo

Condolence: Dearest Mary Anne,
I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of your best friend "Spike"! You two were a pair of smiles, love and the joy of Gerald and your puppy dogs. I will always remember his pleasant smile, leaning on the truck waiting for you to finish work. I would pick up Tytan and Sydney and he was always so very nice. My heart goes out to you at this time and I pray that the loving, fun, happy memories soon over shadow the sorrow you feel today. Love Tracey

Condolence: Spike, Although we have not seen each other for many years ( since the Truck plant I believe ) I still remember playing at the house in Brooklin and being there often, fond memories. Condolences from my family to Maryanne and Gerald and Robert and his family and Allan. It is at times like this that I realise how little I know about extended family. Peace be with you.

Condolence: In loving memory of Spike Brooks my (kissing) cousin
I never dreamed I would be the one writing this however another soul has taken their forever place in my heart. Sad to say far too young.
My personal belief is that you carry all your loved ones with you in your heart and they live on through your memories. Gone but not forgotten. I understand that we all have to go sometime but you still question why now. I don't know if it is predestined or not and even if it was it doesn't make this any easier.
A lifetime of memories flood through me as I write this Spike. We were more than just cousins, we were friends, enemies at times, family, rivals and the best sidekicks for going out courowsing. But no matter what had happened previously we were ready to giver again the next weekend no harm no foul.
Most of the milestones in both our lives we were there for each other from marriages to births and deaths. So many memories......... good and not so good the unconditional love was always there. Even through our busy lives and miles apart we could just pick up where we left off and run with it like no time had passed.
I'm gonna miss you cuz. Try not to get in too much trouble until I get there.
Love ya always
Jimmy

My condolences to Maryanne, Gerry and all the other family and friends who will miss Spike dearly

Condolence From: ANNIE BARTLETT
Condolence: Spike, was one of the 3 Brooks boys that i babysat for many years in Brooklin. I often wondered what happened to them when I moved to the West Coast. A year or so ago, Spike contacted me on Facebook, now I could know how they were. I was hoping to reconnect with them this year. For Spike's family, brothers and friends, I am so sorry for your loss.
