Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Fern Howe can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Fern Leona Howe
Passed away suddenly and peacefully at her home on Sunday May 4th, 2014 in her 77th year. Dearly loved wife of Joe Howe for 58 years.

Dearly loved Mom of Joe and his wife Cynthia of Brighton and Jeff and his wife Leigh of Rockwood.
Much loved grandmother of Kelly, Melissa, Shane and Joe.

Predeceased by her brothers and sisters. Fern will be forever remembered by her many friends and several nieces and nephews and their families.

Visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby (905-655-3662 from 12 Noon Wednesday until time of memorial service to follow in the chapel at 1:00 p.m.

In memory of Fern, memorial donations to the Arthritis Society would be appreciated.
