The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Larry Hooper can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Larry Brent Hooper

Peacefully passed with wife Eileen by his side at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.

Larry will be sadly missed by his son’s John and Cody. Lovingly remembered by his Grandchildren Liam and Emily, their mother Nichole Chiasson and Stepson Brandon Kelly.

Larry will be missed by his brother Jack Hooper, sister Patricia Roi, brother in law Rick Roi. Predeceased by brother Ron Hooper.

Lovingly remembered by his Father in law Vincent Vasey, Brothers in law Robert and Michael Vasey, sister in law Samantha Vasey-George as well as his Grandmother- in law Margaret Wyrozub. Larry will be missed by his Aunts, Uncles, Nephews and several friends.

Visitation will be held at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home (5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby 905-655-3662) On Tuesday, August 27th from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A service honouring Larry’s life will be held in Barnes Chapel on Wednesday August 28th at 11:00 a.m.

In memory of Larry, memorial donations to the Oshawa Hospital Foundation Radiology Department would be appreciated.
