Obituary for Roy Parker
Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday March 11, 2016 in his 83rd year. Much loved husband and best buddy of his wife Audrey for 57 years.
Loving and admired Dad to his children Wayne Parker and his wife Tracy of Oshawa and Cheryl Parker of Toronto. Cherished grandfather of Brittany, Shawn and Alisha. Pre-deceased by his grand-daughter Rachel.
Survived by his brother Allan Parker (late Joy) of Orangeville.
Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews and their families.
Visitation will be held at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday.
Then to Brooklin United Church (Princess and Cassels) Brooklin where visitation will begin at 12 Noon Thursday until time of service in the church at 1:00 p.m.
Roy will be laid to rest with his precious grand-daughter Rachel at Groveside Cemetery.
In memory of Roy, memorial donations to Durham Outlook (St. Vincent’s Kitchen) would be appreciated. (Donations may be made by cheque payable to Durham Outlook).
